1. Why doesn't Vayumart sell Ductable AC Units or Air Conditioning Units?
Vayumart's primary objective is to make quality air comfort solutions accessible to MSMEs and small and medium-scale building owners at the most reasonable price.
We manufacture HVAC ducts and Air Distribution Products (ADPs) and distribute HVAC insulation materials. By supplying products directly from manufacturers and avoiding unnecessary layers of commission, we are able to offer competitive pricing to our customers.
Air-conditioning units and ductable AC units, however, are typically supplied through their respective authorized brand dealers and distributors. If we purchase these units through the existing distribution chain and resell them, an additional commercial margin is added to the product cost.
Ultimately, this additional cost would be passed on to the customer.
Our recommendation
For AC units, we recommend that you purchase directly from the respective authorized brand dealer or distributor. This helps you get the product at a more competitive price while also ensuring proper brand warranty, installation support and after-sales service.

2. Why doesn't Vayumart offer Cash on Delivery (COD)?
Vayumart follows a Just-in-Time (JIT) manufacturing and procurement model.
Unlike conventional e-commerce businesses that maintain large quantities of finished products in warehouses, many of our HVAC products are manufactured or procured specifically against the customer's order.
For example, a duct order may be manufactured according to the customer's required dimensions, quantity and project requirements.
Once such a product is manufactured, it may not be suitable for another customer's project.
Therefore, if an order is placed through COD and the customer refuses delivery or is unavailable to accept the order, we may be left with a custom-made product that cannot easily be resold.
Why we require online payment / advance payment
Advance confirmation allows us to:
- Procure the required materials
- Manufacture products specifically for your requirement
- Avoid unnecessary inventory
- Reduce material wastage
- Keep our operating costs lower
- Pass the cost savings on to our customers
This is particularly important for custom-sized ducts, fabricated products and project-specific HVAC materials.
Does this mean Vayumart keeps large stocks?
No. Our JIT approach helps us minimize unnecessary inventory and manufacture or procure products based on actual customer requirements.
Your order triggers the process — we manufacture/procure accordingly.
This approach helps us maintain competitive pricing while reducing wastage and unnecessary storage costs.
3. Is Vayumart a manufacturer or a reseller?
Vayumart works with products from different categories.
We manufacture HVAC ducts and Air Distribution Products (ADPs) and also distribute selected HVAC insulation materials and accessories from established manufacturers.
This combination allows us to offer customers a broader range of HVAC products while maintaining competitive pricing.
4. Why is Vayumart's pricing competitive?
Our business model is designed to reduce unnecessary layers between the manufacturer and customer.
Where we manufacture the product ourselves, we can supply more directly. For distributed products, we work with manufacturers and suppliers to source competitively.
We focus on reducing unnecessary commissions, inventory costs and distribution layers wherever possible.

5. Can I order products according to my project requirements?
Yes.
Several HVAC products can be supplied based on specific project requirements, including dimensions, quantities and specifications.
For custom requirements, please contact our team before placing the order so that we can confirm technical feasibility, pricing and delivery period.
6. Why does the delivery period vary between products?
Not every HVAC product follows the same supply process.
Some products may be readily available, while others need to be manufactured, fabricated or procured specifically against your order.
Therefore, delivery periods may vary depending on:
- Product type
- Quantity
- Customization
- Material availability
- Manufacturing requirements
- Delivery location

7. Can I return a custom-made HVAC product?
Custom-manufactured products are made specifically according to the customer's approved dimensions and requirements.
Therefore, custom-made products may not be eligible for return or cancellation once manufacturing has commenced, except in cases of manufacturing defects, damage attributable to transportation, or supply not matching the approved specification, subject to Vayumart's applicable terms.
We recommend verifying dimensions and specifications carefully before confirming a custom order.
8. What if I need help selecting the right HVAC product?
We understand that HVAC products are technical products and selecting the correct specification can sometimes be difficult.
If you are unsure about the product, size, quantity or specification, contact our team before placing the order.
